Angel Vogelsang is the owner of Advanced Therapy & Nutrition. She has been a Board Certified and State Licensed pediatric occupational therapist for over 25 years. She graduated from Mount Mary University in Wisconsin where she was the President of the Student OT association and active in promoting the work of occupational therapy in the community.
She has worked with numerous children of varying diagnosis, and worked in several settings from: mental health, education, rehabilitation, home health, and hospitals. She is passionate about educating the client and their family on how to best promote independence and success.
She has certifications in: Mental Health in the Schools, Nutrition, ADHD, Ergonomics, Anger Resolution, and Handwriting. She has extensive training in the areas of Social Emotional Learning and is the founder of a teen girl program titled T.U.F.F. Girls. She does teacher inservice and training on: sensory processing, fine motor, and ADHD topics. She does Kindergarten Readiness Screens and assessments to better prepare preschoolers for the Kindergarten curriculum. She is passionate about working with children to promote self-esteem and self-confidence in their school settings.
She is a proud parent of 3 beautiful teenagers and an active volunteer for the City of Scottsdale, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, The American Legion, and the Diocese of Phoenix.
